Live music for parties and events
Sarabanda is live music for every occasion: private parties, corporate events, gala dinners and public concerts. From duo to quintet, we shape the line-up, the repertoire and the sound to the venue and the audience, with the same professionalism and the same quality wherever we play.
Private parties
A milestone birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, a dinner with friends: every private party starts with a chat. Tell us who your guests are, where you will gather and the atmosphere you have in mind, and from there we build the evening together.
The line-up follows the space and the moment: a voice and piano duo for an intimate dinner at home or on a terrace, a trio for an aperitivo in the garden, a quartet or a quintet with sax when it is time to dance. The setlist is shaped with you too: the songs that mean something to you sit alongside our songwriter repertoire.
On the night, you only think about your guests. We arrive in good time, set up and sound-check before they come in, then read the room: music to listen to over dinner, the dance set when the moment comes, and if the party carries on, we stay with you to the end.
Corporate events
A gala dinner, a reception for a company anniversary, the evening that closes a conference: at a corporate event the music also speaks for its host. That is why we start from the programme and the guests, and choose the line-up and the repertoire with you.
During the welcome and the dinner we play discreetly, at a volume that lets people talk: swing and jazz standards, Italian songwriters, international pop in an elegant key. We follow the running order and stop when the floor passes to the speeches and the awards.
Once the formal part is over, the music can change pace: a quartet or a quintet with horns turns the room into a party. We set out from Palermo and travel to clients all over Italy, with the reassurance of a collective of ten musicians: if one of us is unavailable, another steps in at the same level.
Public concerts
A packed square, a stage built for the town festival, a summer series or New Year's Eve: playing outdoors for an audience of all ages is where Sarabanda's repertoire is at its best, because it is made of songs everyone knows and sings along to.
At the heart of the concert are the great Italian songwriters, from Dalla to Battiato, from Pino Daniele to Modugno, alongside swing and the international classics. We build the setlist around the length of the evening and its audience, and Salvo Samaritano's voice leads it from the first song to the last.
In a square the stage and the sound matter too: we work with the organisers and with a sound system suited to the space. For the biggest occasions the line-up grows with sax, trumpet, violin or guitar, and the quality stays the same.
A quote made to measure
For parties and events, too, the quote is made to measure: it depends on the line-up, the length and the venue. A duo and a quintet have different prices, and an event outside Sicily involves travel: drop us a line and we will work it out together.
