Live music for weddings in Sicily

From the civil ceremony to the last dance, Sarabanda plays live through your whole wedding day: Italian songwriters, swing and pop, in Palermo, all over Sicily and across Italy.

The ceremony

We play for civil and symbolic ceremonies, at the venue or at the town hall, with dedicated line-ups and songs: from solo piano to a voice, violin and piano trio, for the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit of the couple.

The aperitivo and dinner

During the aperitivo, the drinks reception before dinner, and during the meal, the music sets the mood without covering the conversation. For the aperitivo and the starters it is usually solo piano, a duo or a trio; at lunch or dinner the line-up grows to a quartet or a quintet. The repertoire ranges from Italian songwriters to swing, and the saxophone adds a melodic voice that converses with the other instruments and gives the arrangements colour.

The party and the dancing

Between courses comes the dance set: twist, electroswing, cha cha, mambo and Italian dance music. For this moment we recommend the quintet with saxophone, which makes the music livelier.

Until late

If the wedding ends late, we stay late with you: during the dessert buffet and the cake cutting we are still there, with background music for the last moments of the evening.

Weddings in Palermo and its province

We are based in Palermo, and here we have played at more than twenty venues: historic villas such as Villa Igiea and Villa Chiaramonte Bordonaro, the villas of Bagheria such as Palazzo Villarosa, Castello Lanza Branciforte in Trabia and the venues by the sea, from Capo Gallo and Sferracavallo all the way to Cefalù.

Already knowing the spaces and acoustics of many of these halls helps us prepare the sound system and the setlist: we explain how in our guide Perfect Acoustics in Palermo. The full list, province by province, is on our Venues page.
