Browsing data

When you visit the website, the servers that publish it receive the data every browser sends in order to work: IP address, requested page, date and time, browser type. This data is used to show the pages and to protect the website from abuse; it is kept only as long as strictly necessary for security and is not used to identify you.

Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest in running the website and keeping it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visitor statistics

To know how many people visit the website and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and produces only aggregated data, without following you over time or across websites.

Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used.

Contact form and email

If you write to us through the form or by email, we process the data you give us: name, email address, phone number if you provide it, event details and message. We use it only to reply to you and to prepare a quote.

The form sends your message to the mailbox info@bandasarabanda.it and does not store it on the website. To block automated submissions, the website briefly counts the messages coming from the same IP address, without keeping it.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: as long as needed to handle your request and, after that, no longer than 24 months for internal administrative purposes, unless a contract is concluded.

YouTube videos

Videos are shown with a preview image hosted on our website: until you press play, YouTube receives no data. When you start a video, the player is loaded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google may process data such as your IP address and store information on your device, according to its own privacy policy.

The website does not embed maps or social network content: Google Maps, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook are plain links, and those services process your data only if you open them.

Providers

Cloudflare, Inc.: delivery and protection of the website, visitor statistics. Any transfers to the United States take place with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
Aruba S.p.A.: email service for the mailbox info@bandasarabanda.it.
Google Ireland Limited (YouTube): only when you start a video.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@bandasarabanda.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
